The conception of bar coding appeared more than 30 years ago. Now linear bar codes can be found everywhere. However, conventional barcodes have some inherent limitations-most importantly the amount of data encoded. Two-dimensional (2-D) codes like Data Matrix overcome this key limitation by encoding information digitally. This high data capacity is ideal for document security and data encryption.

Data Matrix codes can generally store up to 2335 alphanumeric characters, text, numbers, bytes of data, digital signatures, and photos. (2-D) codes are typically not replacing conventional barcodes in their applications but instead extend barcode applicability to areas where they have not been applied in the past.

Our 2D Barcode can be used to automatically verify crucial data and the identity of the appraiser in each report, creating a digital registered certificate and also secure portable database on paper. Essentially creating a verifiable paper trail.
